Hey there!
My name is Isak, and I’m a junior level designer at Futuregames, specializing in creating engaging and memorable level design.
I’ve always loved to create. Back in 2008, a game called LittleBigPlanet changed the way I looked at video games. Its creation mode, where players could design their own levels and even entire game modes, instantly became my virtual toy box and sparked a lifelong passion for building worlds.
As I grew older, that creative drive first led me into carpentry. I wanted to build things for a living, but I eventually realized that field wasn’t the right path for me. What never changed, though, was my desire to work with games. Even while building a long career at Webhallen in multiple roles, the urge to create kept pulling me back to the thought of game development.
That journey brought me to Futuregames, where I finally feel like my creativity and passion can thrive.
As a game designer, I strive to craft unique experiences, strong world-building, and levels that surprise and challenge players. My goal is to push beyond traditional design and create games that feel fresh, memorable, and most imoprantly fun.
My time at Futuregames has taught me not only the fundamentals of level design, but also the importance of collaboration, iteration, and player-centered thinking. I strive to keep learning and improving, pushing myself to explore new design methods and creative solutions. With a keen eye for detail and flow, I focus on building levels that feel intuitive, engaging, and rewarding for players.
