Hey there!

My name is Isak. I’m a Game Designer currently studying at Futuregames, specializing in Level Design.

My love for Level Design began at an early age. When I was 11 years old, I discovered a game called LittleBigPlanet that changed the way I looked at video games. Its creation mode, where players could design their own levels and even entire game modes, became my virtual toy box and sparked a lifelong passion for building worlds.

As I grew older, that creativity only grew and first led me into carpentry, but I soon discovered that my desire to work with games was stronger. Alongside building a career at Webhallen where I had multiple roles, I’ve been refining my craft, and it eventually led me to study at Futuregames.

As a game designer, I aim to craft unique experiences, strong worldbuilding, and levels that surprise and challenge players. With a long-time admiration for industry giants like Hideo Kojima and indie heroes such as Edmund McMillen, my goal is to push beyond traditional design and create games that feel fresh, memorable, and most importantly, fun.

In my time at Futuregames, I’ve been able to enhance my fundamental understanding of level design and also elevate my skills in areas such as iteration and player-centered thinking.

A common denominator throughout all my different careers has been working in teams, and I truly enjoy collaborating with others. I’ve had the chance to meet and work with amazing people in the industry who have inspired me and taught me a lot.

I’m excited to see where this journey will take me and hope to show you what I can do.
